The Saturday Telegraph published a nice list of their top ten technology gadgets that they reckon defined the last decade.
They include: The iPod (2001), Sky + (2001), the USB Stick (2000), Nintendo Wii (2006), Blackberry (2002), Tom Tom Go (2004), the Flip Camcorder (2007), Asus Eee PC the £200 netbook, iPhone (2007) and the Slingbox TV streaming device.
One of the exercises we do in any of of Future Facing Workshops is to ask people to think about how different their lives were a decade ago … and open up their minds to what they will ne like in another decade. This top ten list tends to make me stop in my tracks. What a decade of change it has been!
