These days we rely so much on our smartphones. It’s not just a phone, it’s also a camera, a clock, an address book, a music library, and a calendar. We’d literally be lost without them, especially without Google Maps to hand! Which is why smartphones can be great for personal organisation.
How many of you have apps on your phone to help you organise yourself? There are so many out there, from simple lists of tasks (get milk, feed cat, call mum) to the serious time management apps.
An app that we all use in the office is Todoist. It is literally a to do list and task manager which sends you reminders and allows delegation of tasks. We are never late with Neverlate, we know how long it takes to get from A to B with realtime traffic updates, when we are on our way to meetings and safaris. Our other favourite app is Evernote, it’s great for stowing articles all in one place so you never have to traipse back through your history to find that great piece again.
So maybe it’s time to bin those pesky lingering post-it notes and try an app? Challenge yourself to see how much more productive and efficient your day feels.
